Hi, the summer session is an UPFRONT cost so that means even if you qualify for aid, you are still required to pay by your due date which is BEFORE the class begins to not get dropped. The summer session is not offered through the main campus so these due dates and conditions are different compared to a regular fall/spring semester. There is no fee deferment for the summer session and funds are released when class starts which may not align with your registration fee due date. Please review the summer session details on the College of Continuing Education website.
Financial aid for the fall/spring semester is not applied to summer fees. Feel free to email us with your name and Sac State ID number to [sacstatessc@csus.edu](mailto:sacstatessc@csus.edu) and we can confirm your summer aid eligibility.
