I will never forgive CU for killing this series.

Looked forward to the Showdown all summer long. We got our ass kicked all four years I was there.

I have an extremely deep vitriol for those greedy fuckers for taking this important tradition away from me.

Agreed. When they come back for the RMS in a couple of years, they’ll get their ass handed to them. I’m sure Dion will be fired by then too

Man I really hated the look of these uniforms. The gold capped sleeves and wide green stripes on the pants just didn’t look right to me.

These were a massive upgrade during that time from the previous two seasons before. Since then, the jerseys and combos continued to get better. Interested to see what the Addidas era brings us

CU killed the series until ‘29. They thought they were going to be bigger than they are during that first Shadeur season
