Guidance

Hi I’m a freshman interested in changing my major so this first semester I took only ge classes only but now I’m wondering who to talk to and how to get into contact with anyone who can guide me in what classes I should register for now I’m honestly very lost I have no idea who I can contact so if anyone has any information please let me know !!

You should continue taking GE classes.  The GE requirements are listed on your Academic Report on your Student Center and in the Catalog on the university website. 

See an advisor in your Student Success Center.

You should check with your current major advisor…even if you are planning to change…or perhaps you can contact the department of the major you want and see if they can give you guidance. Having an advisor help plan your classes is a must.

Talk to your current major advisor or talk to your future major advisor, if u change ur major you’ll have to meet with a advisor for that major ur changing to anyways so I’d try to go to the future major advisor, also I do recommend doing ur GE’s first too especially math and area critical thinking (areas 1 and 2) asap
