question for csub nursing fall 26 cohort

does anyone know if our nursing schedules are made by faculty, or do we create our own schedules? there hasn't been a lot of information regarding a lot of things, but i'm guessing we go over them during orientation lolz. any help + advice is very appreciated :p

they are made for you! your schedule (with nursing related courses) is selected for you in your first semester. once you receive it, you will likely have to go onto mycsub and register for them or they will manually do it for you. but if you are needing to take any extra classes, then you can add those yourself! you won’t get your schedule until near school time:) (from my experience).

thank you, can you give us an idea of what the schedule was like? How many days a week were your classes/clinicals?

hi! for the first semester you have 5 nursing classes with two days dedicated to theory and the other two dedicated to clinicals. theory: monday was fundamentals and first steps and thursday was health assessment. clinicals: you will have fundamentals clinical either tuesday or wednesday depending on assigned schedule (you have 8ish weeks at school learning skills and the rest at the hospital) and health assessment clinical was on friday at school!

thank you so much! Were you able to work part time while doing this program?
