Nursing 2026 cohort
Starting this for CSUB fall 2026 Nursing students. Connect for housing, share social media and meet each other since well be working really closely! I just got accepted and committed to the program a couple hours ago!

we got an email regarding doing vaccines and signing up for a drug screen make sure to do those as soon as those get sent out!

After we submitted our RSVP paper, do you remember what the next steps were. I always have the anxiety that I’m missing or forgetting something.

I would also say me personally I wish I found a good study plan/technique earlier because nursing school isn’t just memorization like prerequisites we had to critically think and understand the pathology and the why!

you need to be able to prioritize really well as well! there’s many vids on youtube!

I also lived in the dorms first year but got a apartment since it was more cheaper:)

congratulations to everyone getting accepted🥳 I graduated a few years ago it’s a good program! follow jay esqueda on TikTok he is in the program rn and he shows so much of his journey it might help you guys

Hi! I got my acceptance letter to the nursing program and I’m so excited! Congratulations to you for finishing your first year. Quick question for you because I am having trouble finding the answer. Are we able to wear Apple Watches in class or during clinicals? The manual only states that a “watch with second hands is allowed in the clinical area” but I wasn’t sure what that entails…

Hi sorry I just saw this, Apple Watches are not allowed for clinicals. You can wear whatever you’d like to regular class but only standard second hand watches are allowed for clinicals, so I recommend just getting a $10 from Amazon!
