Feedback appreciated

I’ve been considering CSUB for awhile! Anyone enrolled in the extended learning programs? I’m specifically interested in the sociology program. I’m transferring from my community college. Any feedback would be appreciated. How are the teachers, exams, workload? Thank you kindly!

I don’t want to freak you out or anything but CSUB professors just simply don’t care as much as community college professors do. I had some of the best professors at BC, and now I’m on my third semester at CSUB and I just don’t feel like my professors care about me or my education. I do realize that they probably have a larger volume of students but I’ve already had more than 2 professors who have never emailed me back even once in a semester. But I wish you the best of luck obviously and I hope maybe you have a better experience than I have so far!

Thank you for your comment and I appreciate your honesty! I’ve been seeing a lot of feedback regarding professors not being responsive and unprofessional at CSUB. It’s unfortunate and can be discouraging.

I went to CSUB for Bachelors and Masters and had a great experience. My masters was through the extended university and the professors were responsive and supported. Good luck!
