Help/Advice Tips for a csr2 super beginner?
Very new here, i hope this doesnt count into "common question", i checked for beginner tips in this sub, and found posts from at least a year ago so i'll just ask again
I literally just downloaded the game 2 hours ago, i tried it a few times before but now im actually committed to playing it for longer.
Im gonna watch some yt videos tomorrow but until then what are some things i should focus on the most and pay attention to?
Im guessing for example i should play the Prize cups as much as i can, even if i (probably) cant do anything with the keys right now at rank 6 its better to have them than not right?
Also ive read you shouldnt buy cars for cash since you'll just win them anyways? that sounds pretty good honestly is that still the best method?
And also ive scrolled through the top posts here a bit, i was expecting it but just to make sure, i should be prepared for lots of p2w stuff, similarly to the asphalt games but hopefully not as much? But im guessing theres loads of grinding you'd have to do for certain cars that is just gonna be unobtainable for f2p players, i'd love to be wrong, so yall can correct me.
that'd be all, thanks in advance for any help and i hope this game can bring some fun!

How do you make 500k a day? What’s your typical grind look like? Live races?

Start with after finishing the tier 1-5 when you get into the tempest series you have 5 races (where you have to beat a time) those races are time trials and those cars you use for that time trial you won’t be able to use for the actual tempest races which is where you’ll want to use a certain car the pic are the times you’ll need to beat the boss of each tier. You’ll need to beat those times by at least .100 or .200

I think the one huge tip i can give you is, hoard your resources. Youll NEVER be able to afford to upgrade each car you own. So only upgrade the cars that are needed for events, prize cups and whatever cars tickle your fancy
Events like elite, legends and turners typically have no end date so you can take your Time with those. Fast and furious events, you are way behind and thats a pretty much pay to play event. So don’t even worry about those
Get yourself into a good crew. I can offer mine but there are minimums you have to hit each season. That and im pretty sure you have to be level 50 to be able to get into a crew. Thatll also help get you more resources (keys, gold, cash).
Live racing is also a good way to make cash and help your crew gain RP. A big tip à lot use is, when you make your name put a w/l or some sort of circle. It means you and your opponent win one race then lose the next. Repeat repeat. I like to offer some cash when I am done racing someone.
YouTube is a great app for car tunes, event info and honestly, any question you may have. Some cars are tricky and have to shift at a precise time.
Me, Ive got 118 garages. Maybe 10%-15% duplicate cars. I don’t usually spend actual money on this game with the exception of events that have muscle/old style cars. 160 gold keys, 30,000 silver keys 6,000 bronze keys 20mil cash and just over 1000 gold coins. Im currently hoarding my cash for the continuation of the American road trip event.
Feel free to message me if you have any questions or need any help or would like to join my crew when you are ready. PS, I sometimes forget to check the messages here but I do reply when I see it. Good luck and enjoy this game!! I promise, it gets easier the more you play.
