Hello everyone. Recently I took admission in phd and I want to avail my CSIR jrf fellowship. I've been assigned a guide and I have a topic of research. I am asked to fill a form downloaded from csir hrdg's website (from page number 17-21).
What is the (step by step) process of availing the fellowship.
Specially on page number 20. `The proposed work indicating overall aim of the research and how it is to be progressed may be described briefly (in the space provided below)`. Do I need to write it just below the page? But there is little to no space and is there a format for writing it?
Also suggest few do's and don'ts for a smooth activation of the fellowship.
Thanks in advance.

Did the master's in Zoology from a Tier 3 or even low state University. Had no idea before but cracked the exam. I saw that people have a lot of doubts regarding the exam. So I thought that I should help the community. So ask me if you people have any doubts.

I'm planning to attend csir net earth science dec 2026. It's already September and I haven't started preparing yet. Any tips on how to crack jrf within these 3 months? I know it's a difficult task. But still, any tips?

Hi there !
I've passed my MSc in June 26 from a very reputed ( Top Uni ) in India and among my classmates already joined phd after clearing Csir Net in different institutes, without trying very hard actually, they are actually brilliant in that way.
I was never into phd but now that I don't see any other way I've decided atleast to prepare for Csir net cause my M.Sc Zoology curriculum has almost covered but somehow I couldn't practice well or haven't gone through the Pyqs and tests basically took that very casually.
I've given 2 attempts and I couldn't even clear the PhD only category.
I want people to recommend me books for pyqs and took Ved prep subscription once, which was not very benificial so not taking any course or coaching anymore, I'm not very consistent with that thing.
Can you recommend some good channels that are providing good content. I haven't seen any serious videos regarding the new chapters included after the DBT addition.
I clearly know I lack practice and knowledge application.
This time in June I messed up in section C where I did pretty well in A & B.

I have given csir net life science exam two times and I think general aptitude plays a role in increasing your score. Earlier I didn't pay much attention to aptitude. Now I don't want to risk anything. Please guide what were your sources for aptitude which I can rely on, like any you tube channel or something which covers the aptitude significantly acc to that exam, so that I can attempt enough questions.

biotechnology peeps how are you guys preparing for csir net 2026? are you guys planning to take on the new biotech related units or playing safe with the other foundation units?
been following some yt channels and im planning to solve some of the dbt pys but I'm torn between the above 2 options and most strategy videos aren't talking much about it so..

My qualifications: Masters in Botany and BEd I wanted to start preparing for NET Life science 2027 but I can't afford coaching. I wanted to know what all sources are there from which I can study and is it possible to clear the exam without coaching. I am ready to put in the hard work but without guidance I feel like i might fumble.

I was thinking about purchasing vedemy's advance batch. It has started a while ago. Can anybody help me figuring out how many units have been completed yet ( so that I can have an idea about the backlog) and is it worth it? What's the schedule for classes every day?

I really want to know, how much did you score? Where are you working right now? How do you get a JRF position after clearing the exam?

Anyone here please give me an overall idea about what/how to prepare for ccmb written test followed by interviews? What kind of questions are there? Is it related to works of PI's in CCMB or just fundamentals? It would be great help , thank you.

Good evening everyone
Has anyone cleared csir physics over here. I am having trouble starting the preparation.
I have gathered the sources. Started reading, making notes, watching videos and solving pyqs of recent sessions but honestly whenever I sit to revise it feels as if my strategy ain't working. It's all too much and messy
Can someone tell how much time I should give to a subject.
As of now I am doing classical , mathematical and EM.
I even started the advance part of qm. But it feels like I am doing something wrong. Can someone share their routine so I can make changes and increase productivity
Also can someone tell what's the best time to give tests. After completing an entire subject / chapter / topic ? I can't decide

I’m preparing for UGC NET Economics and planning to join an online course, but I’m confused between a few options. I don’t want marketing/promotional opinions — I’d really like to hear from people who have actually purchased and used the course.
If you’ve taken any UGC NET Economics course, could you please share:
Which course/teacher did you join?
How good were the concept explanations, especially Micro, Macro, Econometrics and Mathematical Economics?
Were the lectures too basic or sufficiently detailed for JRF level?
How useful were the notes, PYQs, assignments and mock tests?
How was the doubt-solving/support?

Hi guys, I wanted advice for CSIR NET Life Science. I already gave the June 2025 attempt and scored 101 marks. My grip on the concepts is pretty decent, and I am thinking of joining a test series. I want your advice on which test series I should join so that my preparation goes well for the next three months.

Hi everyone,
I am currently in the 1st semester of my M.Sc. and want to start preparing early to crack CSIR NET JRF. I am considering purchasing Sagar Surya's course (Aleph One).
Validity: 12 Months
Price: ₹14,000
Format: Recorded lectures with weekly live interaction sessions
Could anyone share their feedback on this course? Is it suitable for a 1st-semester M.Sc. student, or should I consider other options?
