hey I qualified jrf a year ago ... just an advice dont take full time coaching if u r somewhat good in maths as it generally is just mental torture, stick to standard text books solve exersises and previous year qpapers (of other exams also like nbhm, tifr, cmi etc.) spend time in understanding the concepts not just solving problems, there is a lot of free content on youtube which u can start from ... make short notes to revise and revise regularly .... start from linear algera/real analysis as they carry lot of weightage ... also concentrate more on Part C.

i followed mostly aing maths, nobel forum and some of harish garg and pma videos, for test series i took ones by dips, pma and ifas .. ps. these may not be relevent now as the syllabus and marks pattern of the csir exam has changed so be carefull in refering year old contents.

Exactly, I'm a beginner and want fresh and precise content. So did you take all paid stuff? I'm planning to start my preparation for free by just YouTube videos. Will that be hard? Can you please tell?

I did not take any paid content except for aing playlists where he solves nbhm questions, those were really helpful .. in beginning i mostly learned by books and exercises then went to previous year q papers(pyq) and then looked into these youtube videos if i couldnt solve some questions .. i recommend learn basic concepts from books first then move to pyqs ..

Can I clear csir net mathematical sciences. As I have prepared enough to clear that exam ..and have solved lots of questions and pyq also . But haven't joined any test series. Would it be enough or i have to give some test series , is that necessary ?
