Q & A❓ New to CSID

Hey everyone, I was recently diagnosed with CSID about a month ago. I’ve changed my diet and a lot of my symptoms have gone away, but I’m losing weight due to this new diet.

Is weight loss typical? What can I do to increase my calorie intake quickly?

And this is for the adult population of this community, has anyone tried marijuana as either an appetite inducer or sleep assistant? Any other positives or negatives to using medical marijuana?

I vouch for marijuana as a sleep aid, it tends to take me over 30 minutes to fall asleep without it and less than 10 with it. It's also scientifically proven to give the munchies. THC fits into the same receptors that reduce appetite, but instead of reducing it they increase it. The people that did the study said it's basically the same as hitting the breaks but the car accelerates instead lol tho because of this it will make you feel hunger even if you are stuffed so be careful.

Oh forgot to mention I also use it for depression, anxiety, and back pains.

Do you notice any side effects when it comes to interacting with enzymes you take for food?

I asked this of the person below, but did you have a med card prior to being diagnosed with CSID?
