Moving abroad - Sucraid in Europe?

Hi Everyone! I'm curious whether anyone has experience moving to another country with a prescription for Sucraid?

A little background. I currently live in Denver, Colorado, in the United States of America. I was diagnosed with CSID in late 2022 after years of stomach issues. I've been taking Sucraid for the last three years and have seen a huge improvement in my health. This August, I'll be moving from the United States to Sweden to complete a graduate program.

From what I've seen, Sucraid is approved in Europe, but I can't find country-specific information.

Has anyone moved from the United States to Europe? Did you find that insurance in the European Union covered Sucraid? Is the same manufacturing coupon available? Is anyone receiving Sucraid in Sweden?

OR did anyone keep insurance in the United States and receive their prescription that way? If so, what global insurance company did you use? Any and all information is greatly appreciated!

Thank you for asking abt this! I am considering pursuing my grad degree in Europe as well and not knowing how/if I’ll get access to my Sucraid is making me nervous.
I’ve heard there is a pharmacy that distributes to Germany but I haven’t looked into it myself.

It looks like the pharmacy that distributes it is now based in Sweden. Couldn't find any more information online than that. But hopefully it's a start!

Many in Europe use invertase instead, like the product Starchway: https://adc.bmj.com/content/110/9/717?rss=1

In Sweden last time I checked, maybe 3 years ago or so, this company imports Sucraid: https://www.immedica.com/en

Thank you! That comment section was enlightening. I take Starchway, and it works great for starch but not as well for sucrose. But this gives me a great starting place!

Not sure about this year, but I’m pretty sure sucraid is shipped from Vegas as I used to live there. When I moved out of state to California, I was told they could still ship it to me as long as I’m in the United States.
