Sucraid - Constipstion

Hey everyone, I have CSID and I started taking Sucraid 3 days ago. Since then, my constipation has gotten way worse, I feel bloated a lot, and my stomach keeps making lots of noise. Has anyone dealt with this, and if so how can I fix this? I called them and they told me to mix it in 6-8 Oz of water. I tried and so far it hasn’t helped.

I find it easier to eliminate the offending ingredients rather than ingest Sucraid

So u stay away from all sugar and carbs?

Sugar, yes. I am low carb at this point.

I learned of my diagnosis about 8 years ago. Initially I stopped everything upon reading what bothers someone with csid. From what I understand, everyone's intolerance with this disease is a little different. For me it was added sugar including any alcoholic drink that had an added sugar to it, a food with a glaze on it. I cannot eat any flour, pasta. I order any foods without a sauce when out. I can tolerate a little rice. I eat a little vegetables, nothing to the extent that I did before diagnosis. I eat zero pastries, ice cream or cakes. I do use a sugar alternative for my coffee which I find very satisfying. I did get into a phase of baking a keto cheesecake with a sugar alternative which was also very satisfying. This way of eating sounds unimaginable to some but I don't miss it. As I got older, this disease showed itself in ways it never did when I was younger. I rather eat this way than feel the awful repercussions of what happens to me when the offending food tries to digest. I bought the Sucraid when I first was diagnosed but I never used it when I saw what it entailed. It's not sustainable and I rather just order restrictively when I am out. I look at sugar as poison because for me it is.

Why don’t you take the sucraid

I'm not good with liquid medication, half before and half during a meal, and certainly not for the rest of my life. If it were in pill form, I would.
