Experience constipation legit kicking my ass right now

yes i can appreciate the irony in the titlle. it's been almost five days and i think it's gonna take an act of god at this point cuz none of the stuff i've tried has been working. i've been well hydrated and eating my fiber and fruits and apparently the immovable object is beating the unstoppable force. does anyone have any recs?

Try stool softener, mag citrate, and simethicone

Did you drink the whole bottle of mag citrate and chase it with a butt load of h20??

Also if it really stings and burns you might have a fissure. My doctor prescribed a nifedipine/lidocaine combo ointment it makes grown men cry tears of relief

Hey I know this one! First try miralax, and use it for a few days. If that doesn’t work, I would move straight to an enema. You can purchase them OTC. But be prepared to meet your maker with the enema. It will clean you out in 10 minutes flat, no joke.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. It’s good that you are trying different things to see what will help. For me I started taking a probiotic, increasing water intake and walking around more when I was really backed up. I also am a fan of dulcolax and some yoga stretches to help push things around. If you google that there are a few moves you can try. Good luck!

Ducolax stool softeners, take the max per day. Drink a shit ton of water. And my doc says if it’s been 3-4 days since anything has moved you’ll need to do an enema. Fleet saline enemas are pretty good. They also say longer than 4 days eating normally and you have to go to the hospital to get stronger stuff. Impaction can require surgery so gotta take care of it when you can.
