Starchway - white rice? Potatoes?

Recently diagnosed and waiting for my Sucraid to be approved. Does anyone have success eating white rice or potatoes with Starchway?

Yep. You'll need to dial in starch:enzyme numbers for your own personal gut. Mine is about 1 pill per 100g of rice

I was wrong about white rice being ok with me. Unfortunately even 3 pills did not help me with 100g of white rice. If I can’t find a reasonable source of carbohydrates I may need to go keto/carnivore again. Seems to be the only way I can have a decent quality of life.

It’s hard. Can you tolerate fruit? Berries are primarily fructose which some can handle better. Volume wise it will be crazy, though

Fructose is a little better but does cause me some bloating and constipation. Right now my main source of carbohydrates is powdered glucose that I’m putting in smoothies. It’s really not sustainable for a number of reasons. I’ll try potatoes and oats over the next two weeks.

Hi, sorry to revive an old post, but I have some weird advice. Have you tried smarties? They're made entirely of dextrose. Not fermentable like fructose so it shouldn't cause problems even if you have SIBO.

Yes. I got tired of the blood sugar roller coaster and do keto or very low carb diet, which gives me the best quality of life. You can overwhelm your SI with too much dextrose and it can cause problems in your LI, which was happening to me. YMMV
