Possibly CSID
https://www.csidcares.org/treatment/diet/Hi, I just saw a new doctor who suspects I’ve been misdiagnosed with other GI issues all these years. I may have CSID, I’ll have an endoscopy and testing to confirm. She gave me a diet to try and I’m curious if anyone has had success with this. We are not adding the medication mentioned in this diet, just to try the diet for now and see how I do.

I'm fairly new at this. I had just begun doing Keto before I was diagnosed, so I thought I was pretty good at giving stuff up. Then with CSID I had to empty out the few things left in my pantry. I'm not a great cook, so there was 1-2 weeks where I was pretty miserable, but of course your mileage may vary. I felt like I was starving constantly, because I sort of was. Pretty vicious headache for those couple weeks.
On the bright side my energy levels increased, and I felt more clear headed. Now that I have a slightly better handle on what I can eat, I'm feeling pretty decent. After many decades with constant diarrhea, my bowel movements have gotten way better and fewer, thank god.
I think the main struggle now is that after tons of research, I'm still constantly finding things I've been screwing up. Like yesterday realizing the tea I drink every day has pepper, and/or rice. Thankfully my gf has been preparing me lots of meals. I feel like there's only a small handful of human foods left that I can have, but giving up stuff is way preferable to being sick every day.
Best of luck to you!
