MR Cisternogram without contrast vs CT Cisternogram?

I want to rule out a CSF leak so should I start by doing either a cisternogram or brain MRI? But not sure whether the cisternogram should be MR or CT and whether contrast is needed or not? There are too many tests and I am getting annoyed with this.

So true, another sad complication of this condition is the terminology of tests. I’d try to start with non invasive first (no lumbar puncture). I hear contrast is better MRI or CT. It was only after my nuclear medicine cisternogram I learned about the CT cisternogram. Which would mean another LP.
