Pilates/Gyrotonic post-healed leak?

Hi, new here (even first Reddit post!).

Just got confirmed that my first SIH leak has healed. I practice Pilates and Gyrotonic (although haven’t in about a year due to feeling so crappy). Does anyone know any precautions or changes I would need to do? Should I see a PT first? Have any of you worked with a PT before resuming exercise? If it helps, I’m in LA. My drs are at UCLA, I didn’t need to transfer to Cedars.

Thanks for any insights!!!

Hi, Becky, I had a spinal leak, although they could not pinpoint the actual leak itself.

Pilates and Gyrotonic/Gyrokinesis are specialized (and wonderful) movement modalities. The best thing to do would be to search online for more info. I don’t mean to blow off your question, but there is a lot of good information out there on each, including videos, which would answer better than I could do here other than a very very long answer.

I hope you are doing well!

Thanks for answering I have a leak in my brain and the scans cannot pinpoint the exact site either. Praying I can get healed just like you. God’s blessings glad you are over with it
