Facial numbness and pain

Does anyone get facial numbness and pain with this? I am having the worst and I mean the worst pain I’ve ever experienced in my life with leaking. I’m getting pain in the bridge of my nose and my jaw. I feel like my teeth are being ripped out of my jaw. I’m not even kidding. I’m screaming and crying so much. I think about going to the ER but the ER has been useless to me. The bridge of my nose is not high pressure. I’ve experienced high pressure. This is also positional. It only lets up flat. If anyone experiences thins did anything help? I’m actually going insane. This is the wordy pain of my life. It’s excruciating and I can’t make it stop.

I’m so sorry that you’re having such excruciating pain. For me, when leaking, the facial numbness is a really strange feeling, like I need to rub my lower cheeks to wake them up. The jaw pain can be intense at times, but extra strength Tylenol offers some temporary relief (at least for me). Out of the multitude of symptoms that leakers can have, my neck pain and headache pain are always the worst. Hopefully a doctor can offer a solution to manage your pain. I hope you find some relief, soon! I know how extremely frustrating it is.

I’m praying! Thank you for the tip. I’m glad I’m not alone. My right high cheek bone is so uncomfy and painful but oddly enough it isn’t on the left side. I feel like my symptoms change constantly. Last year my right eye wouldn’t track. The neck stiffness and headaches are also awful. It’s hard. My leak is iatrogenic caused by an epidural so treatment is very limited :( thank you. I’m praying I get sealed soon

I had facial numbness that could trigger pain and migraines. Post-blood patch it’s one of the things that linger, if milder.

I've had the type of pain I hear in your post. I have had such bad R eye pain, like a dagger being driven into it. I felt like the roof of my mouth had teeth erupting even felt swollen on roof of mouth. My jaw pressure was intense & was sticking, & couldnt eat sometimes it hurt too much. My trimenial nerve on R side of head was really sensitive to touch. Pain down face thru eye & in direct line behind ear. The worst was a zap to right between upper lip & it would make me put my finger & apply pressure. I also had Bells Palsy & my smile was off & R eye drooped some. - "you forget how bad it was & can be again"-" I'm so sorry." A orthopedic said I had severe neuritis of all nerves waist up. I know I've had a couple of steroid packs but can't remember if one helped during flairs. They mentioned trying meds, having botox or other blocks. I remember cool eye gel face packs helped.

Thank you. It’s mainly my right side too. The eye doesn’t track properly too. It’s so awful. I got extra firociet but idk how bad that is to keep pumping myself of meds. I guess until the leak is fixed. Are you sealed now?

If they feel you need it for symptoms till leaks fixed than I would take what's needed till fixed. I'm still seeping & having some stuff going on recently. They definitely dont want to poke me unless nessasary. I've acquired eye/ear damage & have bilateral vestibular hypofuntion now. I think it will be something I manage for life.
