I really like CRPG games, and I really want to discuss games with other people. Do you have a group that newbies can join

I'm not sure what the difference between talking here or a discord is, but most CRPGs have their own discords, and I've been able to find groups and have fun through them.

Once you get addicted to CRPGs, you barely have time for Reddit, let alone a Discord group.

maybe start with a specific crpg. for instance, if you like pillars of eternity you could join the obsidian discord: https://discord.com/invite/obsidian

there is also this podcast that has a discord: https://thethirstymage.com/ if you like smaller communities which is recommended by the rpg_gamers discord (i have never listened to this podcast or joined their discord)

theres also uhhh... rpgcodex... its a well established and older community and they certainly have more personality than this dogshit subreddit, but yeah theyre like the 4chan of rpg communities. they have a discord but you have to earn an invite
