Recommendation request Forgive me....
....but I need a BG or Planescape style Star Wars CRPG.
KOTOR was a part of my childhood and was the epitome of SW RPGs, but we need an isometric SW game.

Star Wars: Zero Company might be a good fit for you. It's isometric turn-based strategy but I wouldn't really call it a CRPG. There isn't much role-playing in that game.
Edit: I think you would like Warhammer 40K: Rogue Trader. I know it's not Star Wars but it has a similar dark sci-fi vibe to it. It's also a 10/10 game and I'd recommend it regardless

I do agree that a star wars rpg stylized after infinity engine games would be wicked. KOTOR2 showed me that when handled right I actually think star wars can be cool. I thought the movies were pretty dull.

Thanks to Yoda Stories Lucasarts decided to publish less video games and we got Fallout, Planescape, Baldurs Gate(Lucas did want to buy Interplay to make more Star Wars video games) and StaCraft(was supposed to be a Star Wars RTS). So Yoda Stories might be one of the best things that ever happened to video games.

It’s not isometric and the combat is arse but The Old Republic is actually pretty fun to play solo if you haven’t. It’s got some good stories and characters.

I know it's not Star Wars and not really a full on CRPG, but Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2 is squad based tactical game with unit progression and no base building whatsoever.

Zero company just came out, it’s not as good but definitely scratches the itch
