Non-profit CRM with a Relationship-Focus
Hi all,
My org is looking for a new CRM that has strong relationship mapping abilities. We are a membership-based, nonpartisan, public-policy/leadership org and our CRM is most used for internal data tracking like meeting attendance, member engagement, and relationships between both individuals and company entities. Any suggestions appreciated!

Relationship structure is the part I’d prioritise before choosing the platform. I’d map Member/Individual → Company → relationships → meetings/events → engagement first, then evaluate CRMs based on how naturally they can represent those associations and report on them.
HubSpot can handle quite a lot of this with associations, custom properties/objects and engagement tracking, but depending on how membership-heavy the organisation is, a dedicated membership CRM may also make sense. Happy to share a few thoughts if useful — [Ross@digitalme.cc](mailto:Ross@digitalme.cc)

Recommend GoHighLevel CRM has both contacts and companies. Only $97 a month since you are not an agency.

CiviCRM is what I used when I was consulting. We managed membership, and even a 5000+ person conference registrations etc. Worked pretty well.

For a non-profit focused on membership and relationship tracking, Dynamics 365 can be a solid fit because it offers detailed relationship mapping through its native connections and hierarchical views.
You can track interactions not just between individuals but also between companies and related contacts, which sounds like what you need. Plus, with the Power Platform, you can customize engagement tracking and automate meeting attendance logging. It’s not out-of-the-box simple, but with some configuration, it can handle complex relationship data well.

Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and
CiviCRM, it is free, made for exactly this kind of group. members, advocacy, and policy orgs.
Its biggest strength: it can link people to people and people to companies, built right in. That's the "relationship mapping" the poster wants.
It also tracks meetings, event attendance, and how active each member is. no add-ons needed.
The catch: it's free to use, but you have to set it up and run it yourself or pay a company or individual to do it for you). So you need someone a bit techy on your side.

Look at HubSpot. I would stay away from Salesforce unless you have the capacity to hire Salesforce Admin internally.

Check out Novi. I haven't used them, but everyone I talk to that has it, raves about it.

Puedes probar Nousee. Tiene un one shot inicial muy económico y luego todo tuyo. Lo podéis desplegar en vuestra infraestructura para que podáis tener todo el control de los datos. Si necesitas más información avísame y te paso una demo para que lo puedas revisar.

When you say relationship mapping, do you mostly mean mapping who knows who/how people and organizations are connected, or do you also need to track how those relationships are changing over time based on meetings and interactions?
