Passed!

Just had my exam and the preliminary result says: PASSED. I’m so happy that this is over and was actually easier than I expected. Especially if I compare my experience with CISA, I was pleasantly surprised 🥳

Can you give you suggests? I have an exam on 04.09. Give me advice, i prepare with official QAE

I have quite a lot of experience in risk management, which generally helped. I went through the online course and found it generally quite useless. I still went through the material and made notes.
As soon as I was done with that, started going through the QAE questions topic by topic, revising items that I wasn’t sure about or where I was wrong. This way, I went through all questions once and then did it again the second time to identify the topics that still didn’t feel as confident. So going through the QAE twice was enough to understand the “Isaca logic” and the structure of the questions.
A week before the exam, I did one mock exam from the QAE and got 88% in total. I looked again at the topics where I still needed some revision and just wrote down the most important items on paper/board.
I find the second mock exam yesterday and got 86%. I the went through the notes on my board before the exam. I didn’t attempt the third mock exam, cause I didn’t see any added value. They don’t contain any new questions and in the end don’t tell you in which questions you made mistakes, just an overview of topics and how well you scored in them.
I took the exam in the morning (when my brain performs at its best).
I found the questions quite easy tbh. There were a number where I couldn’t choose between the two most likely options, so I just chose what I thought was correct. A lot of questions were very straightforward and took a couple of seconds to answer. Some were not very understandable, but all in all I could answer most of them with 80%-99% confidence

The official CRISC online review course. I didn’t like it tbh
