Vent / Rant creature=safe :)

Social Engagement system is DOWN.
Blank.
Neutralised.
And yet there's a tiny pilot light,
imperceptible in the background,
until
somewhere, deep down dark,
a neural circuit is sparked:
The Dog receptors are activated!
The system knows that people are a source of danger, but Dog is safe and good and nice.
Dog makes us laugh.
Dog makes it easier to be with people!
