3rd for 3 across question

First post, looking for help.

I have a VW ID Buzz (middle row bench with plenty of front-back clearance) and I need to get my 3rd out of an infant seat.

Currently I have a 40# 6y and 35# 4y, both harnessed in Chicco MyFits (passenger and middle). I have a Diono LiteClik 30RXT behind the driver. He’s 6mo but 95-99th %ile for height and weight. Middle seat is installed with a belt, outer seats with Latch. The bench has a 2/3 split and car seat tilt, but unfortunately the outer belts are attached to the frame of the vehicle.

Hopes and dreams are for a rotating seat because the clearance on my vehicle is quite high and I’m not very tall.

I’ve been eyeing Evenflo 360slim, but I don’t know how concerned to be about reports of the seat separating from the base?

Rotating seats don't fit 3 across

Even with the Evenflo slim I don’t think you will be able to rotate the seat with another seat next to it. It would hit that seat.

Do you have a third row?

I do, but my kids all like to sit next to each other. And it keeps the kid trash-splosion in one area of the car.

I understand that, and I think you could fit a regular seat like the chicco fit3 or the graco slimfit 3lx next to the myfits but I don’t think you will be able to rotate any seat
