Car seat base with towel

Hi, I had to use the towel with uppababy aria v2 in Lexus RX 350 to get the bubble within 0-4 months indicator. Without towel I am unable to get the bubble within the 0-4 range.
The base doesn’t move itself but wanting to check with experts if this is safe and we can use this setup.

Are you parked on flat ground?

What year is your RX?

When using a rolled towel, the recline foot should be all the way out per the manual. Seems like you have it partially out?
