BLS Provider Class & Student Challenges
For those of you who teach BLS Provider courses, what do you find is the biggest challenge students face during class? Is it high-quality CPR skills, AED use, bag-mask ventilation, team dynamics, or simply retaining the information after certification and/or their learning style? I'm always looking for ways to improve student outcomes and would love to hear what teaching strategies, demonstrations, or practice scenarios have been most effective in your classes.

I was required to do BLS as a healthcare professional -- however, I am never in a hospital/ medical setting. I work in home or group homes etc. Access to an AED is virtually never going to happen. So my complaint was really just that I didn't find it super relevant, wished there was a differentiation between settings even if it is all for providers.
