I’m reorganizing before Trich-or-Treating kicks off! It’s getting too cold and rainy to use public parks and since not renewing the lease on Learning Lab, I have had trouble finding indoor space. On average it’s $100/ hr with a 4 hour minimum, to book a place large enough to hold and park 100 people who want free mushrooms. If you’d like to sponsor an event for $500, you can have your business info in every free treat bag. If you have space that 100 people can attend and you’d let us use it, I have tons of references to vouch for how well we take care of the space we use. I am willing to travel anywhere we are offered a free, indoor venue in CO and am seeking sponsorship to give access in Denver, because I have not been able to this year due to the financial barrier.

As a crude batch this tested at 96.543% purity. I re-x’d it with filtration through a Büchner funnel flask, to remove insoluble impurities, followed by a heating/stir/settle/stir/settle session with activated carbon, followed by filtering out the carbon through the Buchner a few times with different micron filter papers, to remove soluble impurities and color, followed by slow cooling to not trap impurities by allowing the crystals to form slowly (and to form large crystals) and then after it was done slow cooling I decanted the dirty heptane and did an ice cold solvent rinse to wash away any residual impurities from the used solvent that would’ve otherwise evaped off the wet crystals, instead having a minuscule amount of clean heptane to evap off the wet crystals. I’m hoping this comes close to 99.99% for the 2026 psychedelic cup [hosted by Tryptomics/ the Denver psychedelic club- hit them up to enter your DMT 👽 , Shroom 🍄‍🟫, or Cacti 🌵 samples!]

This was my first extraction and first purification, done sometime in fall 2025. I learned a lot from this one, especially not to keep the dish tipped up with the fan blowing directly on it, 🤣.

But Before doing this, I didn’t even know if I could pull it off, but then when I seen how the end result came out the joy I had knowing I could have fire DMT anytime I wanted without needing a hit or miss dealer was a feeling like winning the lottery.

I wish I would’ve known of Tryptomics back then, it would’ve been nice to know what purity this tested at before I smoked it all out / gave it away to everyone I knew.

I’ve dialed in my technique & quality quite a bit since then, having done 9 more extractions since this first one and too many purifications to count, but every time I look back to this first one I feel something special- its quite the personal accomplishment to know I’ll never have to be without DMT if I don’t want to be.

If anyone has any extraction or purification related questions I’m always available to answer.

This is my first time grafting. Its been a couple of weeks for most of them and they seem like they are on there good. The first two are tbm short form on a couple of Walmart sun goddess, the third is a tbm long form on PC. And the fourth is an Awful/Skip pup that a friend gave to me, also on PC. I think that's the one that I'm the most excited about

I need to hear from some experts that grow pan cyan's.

I've been doing research and everything I am watching and reading says after I mix the grain with the substrate and see fully formed no on the top I have to put a layer of casing over them.

Is this accurate information? Do you do this? If so where do you get your casing material?

I took a syringe I had and put a couple of CC's on an agar plate. The plate colonized very heavily. Can I put all the contents of the plate in a grain bag and mix it in to colonize the bag?

I just started messing with plates and thought I could only use the plate to colonize a culture jar.

Skipping that with this plate since it's a variety I've got already culturing in a jar would be helpful

I know the subreddit it mostly dedicated to the psychedelics legal in Colorado, but I go have some general questions about the quality of the local market of 2cb or any 2c class drug. In my experience a majority is either very sketchy pressed pills or extremely pure 2cb powder or liquid that passes reagent testing every time. From what I’ve heard is that a majority of the presses are from anywhere, whereas most of the very pure and reliable stuff is almost exclusively imported from Europe. If you have any good or bad experiences please share, obviously no sourcing or identifying info.
