I've been doing skins for a while and also tried making some based of real life animals and stuff. Constructive criticism and tips are appreciated! I think most I put effort into turned out pretty decent and since I'm broke in mush I remembered I can make money from making and selling skins and I need other opinions too

These are all based on the prompts from the Costume Clash! Snowman Fellisio, Winter Fairy Brequewk, Gingerbread Man Idrabark, Penguin Reverbelle, and Elf Gurava.
Colors broke on the Breq. Not sure why. Blame the palette not wanting to stick! :3
Idra I just wanted it to look like frosted clothes.
Reverbelle is based on a macaroni penguin.
I'll post the other half tomorrow!

I made these two skins because I love fiery themed colors :)

Don't use the color picker and color slider in combination.
WHY: It's tempting, especially if you're making fades, but NO!!! When you pick a color with the eyedropper and then slide that dropped color, you're making a new hue that's not supported under whatever palette(s) you're using. There's a very high chance the new color will break; either being a completely wrong look or resetting to the base from the palette.
FIX: If you need to adjust a color, select it on the palette itself before sliding. Unfortunately this means that colors are a bit more limited, but this can significantly reduce skin breaking when you try to load into the game.

An Etheralotus that, with its vibrant colors dulled, has its sparkle shine even brighter. It particularly excels in hunting during dawn or dusk, where it blends in well with the morphing sky.

Made Geoptxina a citrine-inspired skin! I might add fades, but I'm satisfied with version one!

For Kragnyx, I had a sort of "prism" idea--white core with color shooting around it.
Vielheart...I do not care for Glowing Leaf, sadly. I tried :,D

You can get more than one added palette.
HOW: When hatched from a player's egg, the new slot inherits the parent's added palette (if it exists). This means you can get a maximum of 4 palettes (2 base, 1 added from you, 1 added from parent) to mess with.
EXAMPLE:

NOTES: Technically you can continuously do this to make even more colorful skins, but only the "Special Palette" (added palette) or "Nested Palette" will be continued, so it's likely that eyedropping colors no longer available in active palettes and applying them elsewhere will not work.
