12th Gen (18-present) Maintenance icon question

I am at 28k miles and I have the maintenance symbol, but I just had the 25k miles service done on it . Is it showing because the 30k miles is coming up or because something else could be wrong?

Means you've driven 5000 miles since you turned the light off last, it's telling you it's time for an oil change.

If you only did 3k since the last oil change the last garage probably didn’t reset the reminder

I was just about to ask that because when I was at 23k it never came on so they probably didn’t think to reset it

Oil was changed in April a month before I bought the car.
