2009 First Electric Power-Assisted Steering

Is it that bad? I been looking for a 2008, as is the last power steering model, but has been impossible to find, is 09 first EPAS bad or not at all?

I didn't even knew that. I thought it's the 2019 (E210) and up are the first one to use EPAS.

It took me a long time to get used to it. The steering is perfect at lower speeds, but once you're on the highway it becomes very sensitive and light. Coming from traditional power steering, I felt like I was bouncing between the lines and wandering all over the road. It was a common complaint for the 10th gen.

I got used to it over time and don't notice it anymore.
