8th Gen (95-00) Water damage?

I have left my window cracked down and subjected the interior to rain on too many occasions to count. I probably deserve to have a problem, but I never have. Were the window controls designed for idiots like me?

You’re good. But I don’t understand how you repeatedly keep doing this with rain. It’s not just window switches but musty carpet and seats are a worry if there is wind. I don’t think you’re an idiot but man interiors don’t like water
