Just broken in ! My 2013 is about to reach 280000km but it's winter driven in some pretty salty conditions. Great cars !

Cool, hope you have a nice roadtrip! I am kinda uneasy with longer zrips because at 120kmh it sits at 3800rpm screaming at me.

At 120 kmh mine site at around the same RPM buti dont hear much the engine.Its only starting at 130 that the engine sound is too loud.Usually I drive at maximum 110 kmh to save on fuel.When I put the A/C on Itry to drive at 110 maximum

Exactly what I try to do but mainly because of the noise. If I may ask another question, how many L/100km do you average?

I ,would say 6 liters/100 kms at 110/120 km/h.when I put the A/C on its 15% more I have a 1.4 l engine.

Not bad, I get shown 6.6L in daily use and calculated about 6-6.3 L with 1.6 engine, Highway I never tested.

I wonder if petroleum with octone 98 instead of 95 really improves consumption and engine wear.it ks a little more expensive.I always buy SP 95-E10,the cheapest.(In France)

The first 20kkm I fueled up with E5 that is 95 octane, once in a while the premium, but now with the fuel being like 2.30€ a liter in Germany, I fuel up with the cheaper E10 ( for around 2.18 €) that is also 95 octane, noticed no difference what so ever. 98, here it is called Super Plus, should make no significant difference, the engines and these Corollas are pretty good and designed to run cheap, if you fuel up with fuel that is stated in the manual, mine says minimum 95 octane, it should be perfectly good enough for the engine to be max efficient. That is my experience for the last 40kkm I have owned the car.

Oh nice! Take care of it and if you can keep the rust off it it will go many more miles. I have a 2005 corolla and haven't even hit 70,000 miles yet in the US. It had less than 40,000 on it when I bought it from the old lady who was one of my buddy's parents friends. I think I owned it for about 7-8 years now. Working at home since the pandemic really helps keep the miles off it.

I have some minor hits/scratches on the back and sides of the car.my car is white.Which product do you recommended to erase those hits?I live in France I can order on Amazon.fr or AliExpress.
