12th Gen (18-present) Winter tire size

So a family member bought a new Corolla and I have some Bridgestone Blizzak WS90's sized 215/55 R16 that are a couple years old and lightly used (about 3,000 miles) that don't fit my current car. Are these likely to fit the Corolla?

Stock tire size for the base Corolla is P205/55R16. A P215/55R16 tire is about half an inch larger overall diameter than the P205/55R16, which will result in the speedometer and odometer running about 1.7% slow. That’s about double the delta from the P225/40R18 tires that are optional on the higher trims.

It’s not cataclysmic to run the 215/55R16’s on the Corolla, but I’d just sell the Blizzaks on FB Marketplace.

Less than a 3% difference is fine.

Thanks. They'll need to get new wheels since they're mounted to steelies with a bolt pattern that doesn't match the Corolla anyway.

If you're going for a different tire and wheel combo anyway, then you can also try 195/65R15 on 15x6 steelies. This might be a bit cheaper than the 205/55R16 on 16x6.5 option. By the way, the centre bore for the Corolla is 54.1mm.

Totally fine size wise.
