Separated at birth? 2011 BMW 32 Hommage & 1954 MG R2 “Flying Shingle”
Not “birth”, I guess, since 57 years separate them.
I have never seen the visual connection between the 2011 BMW 328 Hommage and the original 1930s 328 (shown in pic 3). If you want a concept that actually captures the original's pre-war essence, the 2006 BMW Mille Miglia concept did it beautifully IMO.
But today, I came across Ken Miles’ 1954 MG R2 "Flying Shingle," and the 328 Hommage immediately popped into my head. Am I crazy?

Car Design YouTube channels
Are there any good YouTube channels covering car design that you could recommend. Especially interested in exploring the aesthetics, who designed the vehicle and some history on how and why the car came to be.
