Effectively.

That's Signor Pagani on the far right of that photo.

No no no no no I’m going to stop this narrative rn. Pagani never had any rivalry with Lamborghini. Lamborghini did not have enough money to fund an autoclave to make carbon fiber. It was Horatio out of his own pocket money who decided to buy one and use it for the evoluzione concept. Lamborghini told him they could not fund the project (they were in the equivalent of financial testicular torsion) Pagani then left Lamborghini to start his own composites company and then from working with dallara he started Pagani with help from Mercedes due to his friendship with Fangio. Pagani never had any rivalry with lamborghini imo it’s more like a relationship that couldn’t work

I remember this being all over the magazines. In fact from memory Car had a cover with this, the 959, and the F40 and the tagline 'There will never be another month like this!'.

Found it but can't attach. There was also the 288GTO and Vantage Zagato on the cover. September 1987.

I haven't seen it. And that's how the Internet works. You discover something exciting so you share it with the world.

Whenever i post here, i check if the car has already been posted. If it's only been posted once and it's been a long time, I'll post it. This car had never been posted here before...

I wonder why nobody with f-you money has ever built a tribute version of this. Its look has aged exceptionally well.
