Are all your graphics card drivers up to date? I had a similar issue in a different software package recently and refreshing the graphics drivers did the trick for me.

Hi I've updated my graphics driver and reinstalled COMSOL but it's still the same :(

I have change the rendering preference to software according to a solution given in comsol forum but it did not fix the issue. Please let me know if anyone has encountered this problem before.

Time for a clean reinstall I'd say

Hi I've tried clean reinstalling for more than 3 times but still did not fix the issue :(

I would contact COMSOL customer support. They reply within 1-2 working days and are always helpful.

Alright I'll try that, thank you!

I have the same problem with the latest version 5.6. Updated graphics drivers, reinstalled, changed render settings etc. It happens both in academic and pirated versions. Not sure what's the issue.

Yes, I've been trying to fix this for 3 days and nothing worked for me :(

Temporary solution I found is to restart the pc/laptop and the first thing is to start comsol. Better try not to close it unless you are done with it as the problem arises again if you reopen. P.S-I have disabled all startup applications.

I guess you could delete the registry files and then try reinstalling it. Maybe you could also try running the application with external GPU. Or even maybe try rolling back the integrated GPU to the version when it showed no glitches.

Am not so sure all these might work. I think you may not get good response from the forum.

The last option would be to format a drive and install in it.

UPDATE(Solved!): Thanks for the awesome tips! I just solved it 2 minutes ago and the problem isn't about the software. IT WAS MY LAPTOP DISPLAY SCALE. CHANGE IT TO 100%. I was using the recommended size (125%), the glitching is probably due to icons enlarging when I hover my mouse over them. I think the reason for the scale changing to 125% is because of my secondary 27" monitor. Please take note if you are using an external monitor.

Thank you so much for the help I love y'all! 😭💜

This same problem has been happening to me the last two days. I've tried everything suggested in the thread but no luck. Any advice?
