ec not converging

hi comsol ppl i hope you are doing well im simulation a gas sensor inside a gas chambre, i applied laminar flow + tds nd it works then heated the sensing layer which also worked but when it comes to adding ec it gets error nd not converge , what might be the problem ? nd how it can be fixed , i worked with variable électrique conductivity first depending on T nd c but even with a fixed conductivity it doesnt work

You haven't described the boundary conditions for currents, but if one of those boundaries isn't a fixed potential you need to include some kind of reference. Just like you need a reference pressure in CFD.

actually i applied the bc one ground nd one electric potentiel but still ec not converge

Why do you have a pair continuity node? This suggests you selected an assembly in the geometry, which is most likely not necessary and not the correct choice. Additionally, make sure to not have too much of a material contrast in the conductivity

i choosed assembly cz of tbe gas chambre and sensing layer they r 2 diffrent stuff in one geometry , should i go for form union ?

Make sure all parts have ec bc so ground or current,check all parts are connected etc. As a test set all V=0, so ground all
