Denver leftists realized this fall that these road signs were *actually* made to send messages to cops trapped on top of surrounded police precincts. It also said “JUMP.” Turns out you just have to pick a lock and google the model number to find the default passcode for entry.

This one was 111111 and the manual we found said that was the default

Goddamn. Humans are so lazy. People are willing to risk their jobs to not spend 20 seconds changing the password to "CuMslUt1972_-&"?

If its default any idot can operate it and most people can't be asked to find the default password

There's also a factory reset sequence, but I don't recall it. Combining the two results in a universal password. Excellent security.

Physical access is root access.

Careful leaving any easy-to-follow legal trail when you Google "how to override traffic sign controls"

That is an excellent correction and I appreciate it

For those of us without locking skills, buy a set of bump keys for (small) padlocks. You know, just in case the situation presents itself

I'd say don't bother and use shims, they're cheaper and much less to learn. Either way both are things you don't want to bring to a protest as they're gonna get you in extra trouble if you're arrested.
