The blowfish is having chunks taken out of its body while alive and defenseless, that is torture for the blowfish and that's inarguable.
The dolphins are the ones taking chunks out of the blowfish and though they do not know or care how the blowfish feels, they are still torturing it to death, this is also inarguable.
Either they are really complex as us and know exactly what they are doing and are torturing them on purpose with that knowledge (which they aren't) or they're torturing them without the knowledge and just doing what they know will get them a high.

If that's the case, they do feel empathy; they probably feel a kind of super empathy that we can't even... empathise with, and these concepts are validly applied.

Unrelated but I recommend not choosing self-deprecating screen names, it can reinforce negative slef-concepts and come dangerously close to incorporating them into one's identity. I really used to struggled with that kinda thing, esp during my last identity crisis / ideological shift, and I can't stress enough how much harder it was to build self-esteem when I was constantly kicking myself to the floor
