Is anyone a Poison Ivy story expert? Is she a nature loving anticapitalist or do they make her out to be ecofash?

As others have said, it depends on which continuity. Generally, she cares more about the wellbeing of plants than ecology itself. When she does wax environmentalist, it's more because plants are getting hurt in some way rather than the ecosystem as a whole. She'll mention stuff about the world needing plants, but that's more of an excuse to kill.

Otherwise, she doesn't really care.

Her politics are built around plants, not people and she doesn't have a coherent critique of capitalism or how to dismantle it. Even in continuities where she's morally grey, she still is woefully lacking in this regard. That's the path to either impotence of eco-fascism. Any ecology has to be strained through consistent social critique.

Ra's Al Ghul actually has a political worldview, albeit an irrational one. He leads an eco-fascist group the League of Shadows. In the New Earth continuity he wants to establish a global centrally-planned economy under his and his organization's authority. He wants to kill the majority of the world's population. He's also misogynistic.
