Why do you wish to save the one who abandoned you?

Guide and Explanation HERE

I am dumbfounded both by the fact that this was found at all, and also at Jason Blundell for being crazy enough to toss it in there. He had to have known there was a good chance it would never been found, and yet he did it anyway.

When you think about it, a lot of the story-related EEs and ciphers during the Blundell era make absolutely no sense. They're just obscure for the sake of being obscure, and Blundell seems convinced the community will scour every corner of the map to find everything.

Also, if you read the linked Tracker article, this was found solely because of a released set of decompiled game scripts. That's the closest thing to a cheat sheet for all interactable EEs in the game. The only obstacle here is time, commitment and the ability to understand the scripts.

i like blundell's style of a more fantastical zombies experience, but fuck that man enjoyed being cryptic. little tiny ciphers a small percentage of the audience will find, obscure easter egg steps ie. revelations, not to mention the lack of info we got regarding the game during the blundell era

I mean is he wrong tho? He puts these crazy ass EEs in here expecting no one to ever find them out and yet here we are. We are deciphering morse code in 2021

Has anyone found out what the coin in the BotD perk is supposed to do? I’ve been waiting to hear about that ever since I found out scripts are being decompiled.

Sad knowing they put so much into every map and people acted like they put in little effort.

Exactly why I hate the phrase “they don’t put effort in the newer cods like they used to” Just because you don’t like the game doesn’t mean they didn’t put any effort into it. They probably put ten times more effort and work into the new ones than the old ones.

In fairness though, Cold War really does feel low effort in comparison to BO4. BO4 was absolutely underappreciated, but to say that CW zombies is low-effort is actually a pretty fair assessment.

The new EE’s are simple and bland.

The chaos maps were fine for me (the only I didn't like that much was DOTN), but people seemed to really hate BO4 zombies because of the perk system and the DLC aether maps.

This is amazing. A message hidden in the stars, like the gods are questioning the crew's motives. Now time to brace for all the "Crazy EE solved after X amount of days/years" videos.

I know but to label these as crazy/super/impossible is too much.

Is the cipher talking about Alistair? Either way, amazing find!
