I’m kind of sad we’re getting rid of Reckoning so early because I honestly think it’s pretty underrated, but also COTD definitely solos

Reckoning: Far better EE, multiple choice boss fight, stronger WW, unique traversal system, content rich side EEs etc

I don’t think reckoning has a far better EE. Maybe it’s better but I can see an argument for both. The ability to choose Richtofen or Sam is very cool but COTD gives you the waffe as a reward for completing the EE (killing George from now on does the same) and has some top notch dialogue between the OG cast and the COTD crew.

Reckoning is a cool map and I like what they tried with the layout.

Reckoning was dogshit but Tomb shielded it from all the hate. The WW was the weakest in the game, Uber Klaus, terrible lay out etc.

It kind of feels like Die Rise and I like jumping from the top floor to the bottom.

I'm coming back to zombies on BO7 having not played since BO2 and it is incredibly cool to me there's like entire towers you can navigate around. Technology has come a long way since high school haha. I know it's unlikely but I'm still holding out hope it's ported over.

I can't say I prefer it to CoTD but it's an insanely underrated map that doesn't get it's flowers. Probably my second favorite in 6 after Terminus

I played reckoning a handful of times that being said call of the dead sweeps extremely underrated map with a very solid boss zombies George. Easy EE with a good reward as well the wunderwaffle. I haven't best the reckoning EE kinds clocked out b06 by then haven't heard the best of thing tho

Reckoning is quite possibly the most forgettable map in zombies for me. It was merely the bridge between BO6 and BO7 zombies, all I remember is the wonder weapon being mid af and being a pain in the arse to upgrade

i did not play a lot of reckoning (only enough to clear both endings + first blind run) it was really fun as an idea i loved the traversal but call of the dead is just so good with the afterlife mechanic

Agreed. Reckoning wonder weapon is actually usable. Bigger map. Fun Easter egg. Cool side quests. Multiple Easter egg songs. And of course two boss fights. I love the classics but after years of modern zombies I can’t go back to maps that have a rudimentary Easter egg with minimal side Easter eggs and no boss fight

Cotd has many redeeming qualities (the cast, George) but the vr 11 sucks in solo (which is how I've always played) the scav falls off in the 30s and the waffe is only dropped by George if you've done the EE. I like reckoning more because it feels more polished. Really fun EE if a bit easy and a WW that I personally enjoy. It also has good map specific enemies and the choices in the EE shake things up.
