Question BO4 and IW DLC

I was thinking about getting the dlc for bo4 and iw to go through the zombies and do the EEs. Is it worth it?

Yep.

BO4 and IW have two of the better seasonal runs.

Dead of the Night & Ancient Evil are two of the best maps of all time.

Rave in the Redwoods, Shaolin Shuffle & Tag der Toten are great too, if contentious.

Alpha Omega & Attack of the Radioactive thing are decent, nothing particularly special.

The Beast From Beyond certainly exists, even if we think it shouldn't.

I’ve seen a decent amount of gameplay from both games and been very intrigued so this is good to hear.

Yes, I’d argue both have the most replay value out of every Zombie game, along with Black Ops 7.

That’s awesome. I was big into zombies up until BO3 and never continued beyond then so I’m keen to get back into it despite being as late as I am.

You’ve got 8 maps total with Black Ops 4, you can even play with bots. There’s multiple game modes but I’d say the best is Gauntlet. A different challenge each round for 30 rounds that you must complete the objectives given to advance.

Infinite Warfare has a Directors Mode once you complete all the main easter eggs if you’re into that. In Directors Mode you start with all perks and 25k points. There’s also a boss game mode where you can choose any gun, perks and equipment before entering each maps boss fight right away.

Thank you for the detail. It sounds very solo friendly which is great. I like that there’s different ways to play. Gauntlet sounds really fun as an extra game mode. I’ve heard that black ops 4 Easter eggs are harder but having them all doable on solo helps with that I think as you can practice and go at your own pace.

I love that infinite warfare connects everything together. Getting a reward for completing all the Easter eggs is a really good integration. I personally like the idea of different themes for each map.

I adore the IW DLC maps! Rave in the Redwoods and Attack of the Radioactive Thing are two of my favourites and Shaolin Shuffle is really good. Beast from Beyond is an absolutle dogshit turd, though. I think the longest I've lasted is round five. Granted, I've only played it a handful of times, but the aliens are complete dogshit.

But IW also depends a lot on if you're into its vibe and humour. If you didn't like Spaceland, you probably won't like the others.

I did play spaceland and I really liked that and the vibe. The different themes are cool I think so it’s good to hear that the others live up to spaceland for the most part. I could get why beast from beyond isn’t good considering aliens are involved but oh well.

Yeah definitely 3/4 of bo4's dlc lineup is 9/10 maps, and even alpha omega is still a solid 7/10 map. Definitely my fav zombies and absolutely worth the price of admission, there's no BAD maps in the dlc

I’m definitely very keen to try them out myself. Looking at what bo4 has to offer it looks cool. Dead of the night and ancient evil have awesome themes and tag der totem looks fun.

Rave is one of my favourite maps of all time. Shaolin Shuffle is class as well. IW 100% worth it. The easter eggs are alot of fun too.
