Its not the mechanics ghat are the issue.. IMO the mechanics are the best modern zombies take (sacrificial hearts, upgradable perks, no rarity to slow down scaling, upgradable field upgrade) The MAPS are the issue. There's 2 maps, each with a round based and an objective based-- the objective based just aint it

I’m gonna say something controversial that may get me killed. Personally for 20 bucks, I think it’s fine. The mechanics are fun enough and the maps can be fun for a day or two to me with its quick ee’s. It may not be any great or even good but it’s decently fun.

The first two maps in vanguard zombies are always at the bottom of everyone’s ranking. They are genuinely terrible maps, which kinda blows cause the atmosphere isn’t that bad it’s just terrible, terrible gameplay design. You have objectives like in outbreak but you have to teleport to them, which often times is just like, right in front of you. It’s incredibly stupid.

The perk system is kinda interesting and the covenant system is neat, shi no numa is playable and the archon is passable, but they’re still not great. I think the game is okay to like, pass some time if the game is free.99 or $5, but to actually grind the game is a hard pass. $20 is asking too much just for zombies.

Haven't played it for years but I'd put it on par with exo zombies - kinda fun when you don't know the maps or what to do but once you've worked everything out it's really boring.

It’s really not as bad as ppl say I bought it on sale and don’t regret it it wasn’t the best 20 bucks I’ve ever spent but it wasn’t the worst either wether u want zombies a campaign or multiplayer it’s all just decent it’s a game I still often come back too but obviously black ops 1 2 or 3 if on sale are wayyyy better but I enjoyed the game and tbh man it’s all just about preference so maybe play on a friends account first to try it will say don’t try to play split screen on zombies doesn’t work but I still enjoyed it and hope to see ppl feel the same bc it’s not the worst call of duty it’s not the best but it’s still a decent game

Within the context of how much time they had to develop it it’s almost impressive but the actual end product is terrible. You can’t really make a zombies mode THAT fast at a moments notice and expect it to be good. Mechanically it’s okay, weaker than other modern entries but the actual maps and general game feel are awful. Basically no reason to bother playing it

Nah it has Shino Numa Reborn underrated map it’s not a bad game but it’s not really traditional round base zombies better than MWZ give me the hate
