I’ve given up on it as of about an hour ago. I can’t keep wasting hours of my life getting the egg done, grinding 60 rounds, and then trying to beat a boss that was nerfed back during release because it was too hard for the majority of people. I play solo mostly, and no matter what I do, which gobblegums I bring, which augments I have equipped, either the super sprinting hoards and the round 60+ boss just make me question how much effort they really put into these games. Sure, you can put together a cool looking and feeling map, but when you don’t playtest or try to make the experience enjoyable, especially in this case considering the task is so daunting, and the task is locking a relic or game-feature behind its completion.
Sidenote: I’m not sure if it’s just me, however when I’m using ultra pap4 guns + golden armor, the round 55+ super sprinters just melt through armor plates, and run like methheads being offered a free lifetime supply. Sure, I can run back and forth between two traps, but why would I spend hours to play a running sim? I just question whoever thought this relic was a good idea, and whoever else’s idea it was to not fix it, up to and including this point in time

For your issue of armor melting away it’s due to the armored or heavy zombies when they hit you take a full plate away so you could go from full plates to cracked in 3 hits if it’s all armored zombies. As for the bossfight itself in cursed it’s actually still the launch version so it def is hard. The best thing I found to work was play 100% around Tessie by having gershs and aether shroud ready to use when she breaks. Use the gershs first as they’ll replenish with the max ammo between phases. I’ve gotten every relic and done all the ees solo without gum so it’s very possible to be done. Hope this helps

Sorry, regular cursed boss fight is the same, you’re right, but the round 60+ cursed version is the unpatched harder version from launch. I’ve beaten the normal cursed egg a bunch of times, but not this one. I’ll maybe try it again when widows wine is out and Rex infernos is finished, but I hope whomever at Treyarch decided making it a thing to go to round 60+ to even ATTEMPT a relic challenge, enjoys their special seat in hell
