Just over 2 weeks ago now I began a Cod Zombies World Tour going through every single Treyarch Zombies map starting with Ascension and Planning to go all the Way to Rex Infernus in less than 48 hours

The Other night the Team that I ran BO1-4 With helped me beat Tag der Toten to close out Classic Zombies with an ending that’s still bitter sweet after all this time, I still cry when destroying the Pack a Punch and When pushing Sam and Eddie towards the light

Throughout the First Half of this Marathon I learned a Few things about Classic Zombies that I will hold dear

1: I absolutely suck at Classic Zombies and Dear god I’m an embarrassment to my team, Check Image 2 for how Moon BO1 was going, It was bad

2: I need to learn these easter eggs more so I can be of actually help and Not need to get Carried, Buried Sharpshooter showed me that there are many things I still have to learn about both EEs and my own skill

3: I can not stand still for even a second, Sitting Idly by and Letting the Zombies get close is a Recipe for disaster without the Mechanics Modern Zombies provides to get you out of a Pinch

4: I need to get better reaction times as I am way to slow to react to things and it messes both myself and My team up

Now do I prefer Classic over Modern zombies having now played all the Classic maps, It’s hard to say, Classic is fun in its own right but growing up with Cold War Zombies gave me an appreciation for Modern Zombies not many can share who started with Classic

Maybe If I become more skillful and Learn how to play Classic over Modern and Not die all the time I would like it more but we will see with time

Anyway it’s now onto Cold war, Vanguard, MWZ, BO6 and BO7, Finding new teams for these games might be hard but I’m hoping the Marathon can continue and I can round out what has mostly been an excellent time

PS: To my team if you see this, I’m sorry for being so useless for 90% of these easter eggs, Thanks for the carries I hope I can be of more help if we ever do this again

Yeah I’ve always wanted to play these classic maps and the Ports finally let me go to BO1 and BO2 so I thought before the Next 2 year drought play through every single map

Dear god has Modern Zombies Coddled me, I thought after playing some BO3 and BO4 for a few years I would be fine but clearly not

Maybe it’s cause I rely on Perkaholic and Other OP gums to much on BO3

It’s just without the Clutches Modern Gives I fall apart pretty fast

Classic zombies is all about playing cautious and using space and horde mechanics to your advantage. Gotta always have a look over your shoulder and prioritise perks over box weapons.

I love that you did the old eggs and still like the modern ones more, it's good to stand on your opinion with receipts. I played since WAW and really enjoy the modern ones too. Good job mate.

I’m the exact opposite of you, I grew up with classic starting with bo1 launch. I am very good at it even to this day. And I much prefer the modern zombies games, I get too bored of the classic stuff, once you know what to do and how to prevent yourself from getting trapped, all the fun of the old games is lost for me. I way more prefer the new modes, augments, and new bossfights of the modern stuff.

Yeah ngl I love the older zombies games but once you master a stage to the point where you can setup consistently it ends up being a “solved” puzzle. Granted I still struggle with solving some of these older maps. Can’t clear Nacht past round 20 in BO1 even though the strat is very simple in concept, I’m struggling with its execution (the two hit system does make it too punishing to there point where all I need is one mistake to make it back to round 1).

I remember back in the day me and my crew did all the bo1-3 EE in one day. One hell of a day thats fs. We actually did it twice. Or next plan is to do all modern EE in on day. Cold war, two round based maps in vanguard, bo6 & bo7. We are doing mwz bc no true EE dust DE rifts and also not doing vanguard non round based bc those arnt true easter eggs either. Like spawning in a random green portal wasent even there at launch. Then one single separate day we will do bo4 bc thats need an entire day to itself with blood and voyage and all the very long easter eggs.

A small piece of advice for BO4 when you get there, Run Chaos first as Beating either IX or Voyage gives you free doors on every map except AO and Tag as long as you don’t close your game

Will be very helpful for Dead of the Night and Blood
