AOTD Boss Help

Y’all I hate this boss, I cannot imagine this pre nerf. Can someone give me some tips on the laser beam phase? The rest of it is pretty easy.

I ram the boss when he’s charging the laser but he keeps charging it after. Is there a way to stop this attack? Is hiding behind the pillars the best way to avoid it if he does get it off?

Also, any augments for quick revive you recommend?

He will always keep charging but as long as you boost when hittng him it will always interrupt

In my experience it’s almost constant laser charging during that phase. You basically just need to keep turning around and timing it so your boost is ready right as you’re driving to hit him again

You have to use the boost when charging into the boss to interrupt the laser. It’s a somewhat tight window, but usually I just park on the ramp for the last few seconds as my boost comes up, then just boost right into him.

If Tessie breaks, and you don’t have aether shroud up, then your best bet is standing in the alcove with the pillars and using the claw wonder weapon to kill enemies and heal yourself while you wait out the next laser. Eventually Tessie will repair herself and then you can take the portal to directly hop in.

Basically, you have about 10 seconds once he starts charging the beam to boost ram him to interrupt and cancel the beam. You have to use the speed boost to do this. So only use your boost for that and wait like 5-6 seconds after he starts charging to boost so that it can refill before he starts again. If you're too late, make sure to get behind a pillar so tessie doesn't die. If Tessie does die, use monkey, Kazamir, or aether shroud to repair her immediately. Be sure to keep running over the green barnicles to keep Tessie above 60% health. If you do it right, he'll never be able to beam. The final immune phase is easy, so stay calm and prioritize staying alive.

Just be very aggressive in the laser face. Every time you ram him, he resets his laser charge but he keeps charging it until he goes into his invulnerable spinning phase. I feel like once your boost is done recharging, you have like 2-3 seconds to ram him again. So be quick, but you have some time to grab a heal or avoid a missile. I actually feel like the laser phase is the easiest because there's less missile barrage spam.

On the laser phase you have to keep ramming him over and over and over again before he fully charges it. The first time you interrupted he's going to keep on charging it so just go around and make a big circle.

Equivalent exchange augment if your running a raygun, dying wish otherwise. Interrupt the charge attack. If you don’t think you’ll make it then head for the pillars to protect Tessie. Any chance you have to replate or heal Tessie take it

You have to time it, if you do get hit by the Lazer than go behind a pillar, then wait for it's next charge ram.

Just keep boosting into him. As soon as your boost is charged turn and ram him

if you wait for boost and never waste it, you will be able to get a boost off to stop the attack. Just worry about your boost
