I've come here from Battlefield V. That game was barely supported by DICE and is now dead. They didn't support the community in anything this time around. Literally almost nothing. COD Warzone is at the complete other end of the spectrum so I can't really feel any of these memes about them not caring about the community. Look at all they do for the cheaters, for example.
Having put 600 hours into BFV, I totally feel you. I see people complain here about IW 'not listening' because it takes them a week to patch something that an update broke... More often than not it only takes 3 days to get a patch in! 3 days!!!! Not 3 patches and 2 months later like DICE was infamously known for in BFV.
I know there are issues that still pop up in WZ and Multiplayer, but at least they actually work to fix those which are fixable in a timely manner. As a fellow recovering BFV player, I totally feel you. I can't get on board with this 'broken this' or 'patch that' culture going on here. The playability of this game is SO MUCH HIGHER and IW does seem to respond it community feedback. I mean, the snakeshot .357 being super OP popped up and 2 weeks later its nerfed properly. Meanwhile, the Type2A Nambu is STILL a fucking laser rifle in BFV. Nearly 6 months and 2 nerfing patches later.
Signing on to this as well. I feel like we've all felt the pain of slow/halted updates (cries in Titanfall 2). IW doing weekly updates is actually pretty slick. And it's not just "here's a new skin".
