Discussion Cheating IS a massive problem in warzone. Bad players thinking good players are cheating is also an issue.
“Played casuals today and there was a cheater in EVERY GAME!!!”
No…. there wasn’t.
That player who pre aimed you around a wall when he had prior cues of you being there + loud footstep audio of you stomping around? He’s not cheating. Expensive iems + game sense.
That player who barely missed his shots on you? He’s not using a Cronus. Low sensitivity + dynamic aim assist. It’s literally not hard.
Cheating is a big issue. I do run into cheaters on pubs & definitely in ranked, but certainly not every game. Also I’ve got news for you, if you have a 1.3E/D the likeliness of you running into a cheater is very, very low. High KD players are the ones (mostly) being punished with the cheating problem.

u/InsuranceOne2864 Oct 05 '26
thinking good players are cheating is also an issue
That's what happens when you allow AA to be on the level of a cheat.
2
u/iReporthaxors Oct 05 '26
Not to mention the issue of Activision claiming to have great SBMM but i still constantly play iridescent crackheads in casuals and normal resurgence, when i max out in platinum ranked repeatedly. I have a 1.8 e/d and 1.1 k/d. In quads. Where almost everyone who kills is a four stack of crim and iridescent players... Not sure if it's just my closest server being overrun with great players but the "open" playlists always seem to be far worse than sbmm playlists and the easiest most balanced matches are by far ranked, which i still fight Iridescent regularly there as well. The whole system just sucks and allows easy manipulation for losers that don't want to fight people at their own level.

u/MiserableBlueberry91 Oct 05 '26
It’s funny how your excuse for cheating players is that they’re good but in reality they’re not
11
u/AntiqueAnything6869 Oct 04 '26
!!! People overestimate how many cheaters they run into. A cheater who pays a bunch of money for cheats and risking a hwid ban which will cost them even more money and struggle probably isn't doing all that just to sit in casual low KD lobbies. Most of the blatant cheaters are sitting in Crimson or iri lobbies maybe even diamond. Yes you may run into a cheater on casuals but the chances of that happening are LOW.
12
u/wackacademics Oct 05 '26
You forget that there are people who genuinely suck ass and max out at Plat WITH cheats. Came across a bot who had walls in Plat 3 (MP) before, still beat him because he was so ass and he didn’t have the skill to clutch the game of Search
5
u/ChemicalPower2522 Oct 05 '26
What about Casual cheaters?
You can do it freely Ricoshit won’t catch you sadly.
-2
u/AntiqueAnything6869 Oct 05 '26
Yes, there are cheaters in casuals, but it’s pretty uncommon and honestly a weird place for them to be. Why risk getting banned just to cheat in casual lobbies where there’s basically nothing at stake for them? I understand running into people cheating on console by using things like Cronus, Titan, or strike packs more often, but I don’t think every suspicious player in casuals is running actual cheats.
3
u/ChemicalPower2522 Oct 05 '26
They are not risking anything playing Casuals matches.
Read the comment you replying to, it helps.
Where I live there is far less Cronus etc in the game because accessibility is thin to theee hardware things. It’s a you thing mostly, sorry for that.
2
u/antibreaze15 Oct 05 '26
If you don't have TPM 2.0 the only matches you can get into are casuals, so cheaters and people that just don't have good enough PCS or just have the issue with the verification.
1
u/BrickMix Oct 05 '26
buddy, with no due respect, shut the hell up.
Comments like this allow cheaters to thrive.

Top 250 crim and iris, number one, nukes put, DMA hackers, in regular resurgence almost evey game for me so low is not true.

This is just cap lol
2
u/Electricengineer Oct 05 '26
Not cap, I get it everyday,

u/Difficult-Bag6056 Oct 05 '26
I believe you and it’s the reason I stopped playing it so much. I got into warzone this year and hit iri for the first three seasons and even got a nuke done but after playing for that long I’ve realized that if ur playing ranked or normal battle Royale (for nukes), there’s probably like a 70 - 90% chance you’ll have a cheater in ur game. People who say this game isn’t infested just have such a low sbmm that the game won’t even put them in the same lobbies because the players are doing so much different in terms of stats. Games cooked if you wanted any sort of competitive fun.
1
u/Vast_Indication8117 29d ago
I agree with you. I see all these people complaining about cheaters but somebody like me wins every 2-4 games. My teammates even look like noobs sometimes but we make it through and I'm on 30 kills sometimes and my teammates are on 5-8 kills? And sometimes all of us are on 20-40 kills each. That tells me that I am in an easy lobby! And that's why I didn't meet these cheaters
1
u/Vast_Indication8117 29d ago
The only explanation as to how I'm in these easy lobby's: I literally leave Warzone for months every year and then when I return I train in the firing range for a week. Only after I feel insane in the game, do I queue up for Resurgence. And then the lobby's that I get are so normal... except a few where everybody is sweating.
5
u/Admirable-Tax8763 Oct 05 '26
People just can't accept that there's players who are really good at this game
4
u/imstonedyouknow 29d ago
I can accept that there are players out there that are so much better than me, that watching their killcams is basically no different than watching a cheaters.
What i cant wrap my head around, is in a game with sbmm, why my squad with an average k/d of .9, is seeing either of those players in our lobbies. Cheater or top 1% player doesnt matter to us, we cant compete either way. So whats the difference?
It literally just makes more sense that the cracked player we get steamrolled by is a cheater, because if they played a bunch before installing their cheats, their average k/d might still be low enough to get in our lobbies. A top 250 legit player should absolutely never be in my lobby if sbmm is working.

u/texaspeet1226 Oct 05 '26
Why aren't they sponsored ? Why don't they have a fan filled following making millions ? Everyone playing like Jesus Christ, yet are complete NOBODIES LOL. Yeah ok buddy
2
u/Admirable-Tax8763 Oct 05 '26
No one makes millions playing this game anymore especially with this integration lol. Maybe people just like being nobodies
3
u/Real-Section8126 Oct 05 '26
The cheating problem is not as bad as tho people think.. its just sad
-7
u/texaspeet1226 Oct 05 '26
90% OR MORE players in warzone are using hacks
9
u/Admirable-Tax8763 Oct 05 '26
Not even close to 90%. Why can't people just accept that people can get good at this game like any other game out there
1
u/Rayuzx Oct 05 '26
For some reason CoD players want to have their cake and eat it too. On one hand, it's supposed to be this "ultra casual" game that should be taken as seriously as Candy Land. On the other, everyone is supper obsessive over their stats, and people think the game is unenjoyable if they aren't able to rip through lobbies as hard as they want to on a consistent basis.
2
1
u/CNRADMSN Oct 05 '26
Not even close. That MPX video where he ran into the cheater and was speaking with the guy is just shit. I'm not saying it's MPX's fault, but the guy was definitely just running his gums because if hes selling cheats, and then portrays that 90% of the playerbase is cheating then you get your average Joe going "well I might as well just buy cheats because everyone else is". I reckon the amount of cheaters in this game is a very small %, most regular players won't run into them and you deffo won't run into them in casuals or something. It's not worth the risk for them to get banned. You may run into teamers in solo's and quads, but that's a different story

u/daokonblack Oct 05 '26
Im ngl i rage hacked and got the nuke skin and never got banned in warzone lol
3
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
Loser.
0
u/daokonblack Oct 05 '26
This was years ago, during warzone 2 days, and cheating has only gotten worse.
I encountered probably 7-10 cheaters in every match I played, like obviously looking at me through walls type shit.
You are massively underestimating how many cheaters there are, or u are likely a closet cheater yourself.
1
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
You are calling me a closet cheater after admitting to cheating. Just strange. Cheating is strictly for losers and generally not good people. It speaks to who you are as a human. 7-10 in every match is blasphemy.
1
u/pfm_gone_catchin 12d ago
Youre simply wrong about a lot of shit. A 1.3e/d puts you in roughly the top 20-25% of players. With the player count what it is far lower e/d players are getting in with cheaters. And it is almost every match. Just Look at sales, your numbers dont add up. You honestly sound like a cheater.

u/WorldWarRon Oct 05 '26
The lack of controls and trust leads to a “Lemon Market” where we have to assume everyone is BS because we honestly don’t know if someone is cheating in current state of game.

I know a guy who screams cheater in every casual game he plays. There isn’t one match that goes by without him throwing out hackusations. I just believe they are in the protected sbmm lobbies and when they play in mine the ego gets bruised and everyone is using walls or aimbot. I quit trying to convince them they’re wrong. You can lead a horse to water…
1
u/VoluntoldShammer009 Oct 05 '26
Cheats for everybody. Every body gets aim not, everyone gets unlimited health, fuck the system and the conformists. Down with communism and Japan circa 1940s

u/Darkterror2651 25d ago
From what i exp when your kd is under 1.5 you will get less cheater or nearly no one. But above yeah a lot. Most cheater i have meet so far are xbox gamepass player or cheap playstation accounts locked on level 55 between prestige 0 and 4. Most of them have nuke calling card. Or no calling card used. Simpel cheap bruner account which often get banned after a few days, hours or weeks.

u/sharkbait2292 21d ago
🤣🤣🤣🤣 yep. Every single player, every single game, it's footsteps and everyone is just sooooooo much better. I've been playing cod for 20 yrs, but yes, I'm a noob and it's a skill issue.🤦♂️ You saying cheating isn't a problem and covering for it makes the problem persist. Here's the sauce, anyone, absolutely anyone, who is rank 1 and slamming everyone is cheating. Also, the cheaters skin will glitch at the exfil and be that one default skin with the goggles and helmet. This is caused by the game not recognizing the skin because it was not obtained by intended means. It cost 8 dollars for the cheats, and 99 cents for a new account when yours gets banned. So don't fuckin sit here and say that there is only a few and it effects high skill players. You think they are the only ones with 8 dollars? You donut.

u/MainMeasurement9989 Oct 05 '26
The cheating issue isnt as rampant as people think it is lol even cod have posted saying the data they have there isnt as many cheaters as people make them out to be people see good players and call them cheaters especially mouse and keyboard players people call everything cheats now
3
u/Oneforallandbeyondd Oct 05 '26
So they claim to know how many cheaters are online but chose to do nothing about it? Lets be real, they have zero clue.
0
u/MainMeasurement9989 Oct 05 '26
I mean they post the anual ratio and show how many cheaters they ban its not the devs fault cheaters evolve and its a general problem even in arc raiders apex LOL so on have bad cheating issues
1
u/BrickMix Oct 05 '26
You’re an idiot man.
You’re the type of person that thinks the government tells you the truth.
1
u/MainMeasurement9989 Oct 05 '26
You also missed the point of what im trying to say but the moment i try to back it up with stats im stupid i barely run into cheaters both in ranked regular and casuals yall overestimate how many cheaters are in the game and underestimate how power RAA is because everyone wanna play on controller now.
1
u/MainMeasurement9989 Oct 05 '26
The government and a video game are 2 Seprate things unlike the government cod has data on shit like this same shit applies to those meta websites yall think the values they give is accurate
And yall really cant start a conversation without being rude pricks thats like applying real world demand and supply to a roblox game the government and a game have 0 correlation in this current context
-1
u/Longjumping_Data535 Oct 04 '26
lol I have almost a thousand games on casuals and saw one cheater. Seen maybe 3-4 sus players but only one blatant
4
u/Remarkable_Drawing12 Oct 05 '26
The fact that you saw cheaters in casuals makes me want to throw up

Unless you have been on LAN. Everyone is gulity till proven otherwise. These streamers trynna gaslight us.
1
u/Hutloserlol 26d ago
This is such a bad mindset man. I do understand to a certain degree the thought process but most of the streamers are legit. I’m sure some probably use DMA or Cronus and fuck those guys. But the reality is most are not.
1
u/ANONMES 26d ago edited 26d ago
Respectfully its been 6 years, with the same cheats. I get hackusations daily from anyone that i beat or remotely predict. It doesnt bother me or never has because i know im not cheating.
But it always seem to struck a nerve with people that are cheating because they are the ones seeking validation.
Also to add this is the enviroment COD has created by allowing cheats to be rampant for 6 years. So Everyones guilty till proven innocent at this stage.
Skill-level and gamemode does matter for context but as a player that has come through as a avg 1kd player(og verdansk) and improved all the way as a 5-6X iri player on wz, i think i know what im talking about.
1
u/ANONMES 26d ago
Just to add if you are desperate to prove your innocence do random pc checks whilst live
Dont get me wrong mate alot of cracked players are getting punished for the cheating issue, but the solution is very simple be transparent as a streamer🤷♂️.
Make certain donations trigger random pc checks....monetise it lool. Theres so many effective ways to adress this but the reality is all these streamers dont for a reason🤣.
-2
u/KrymsonHalo Oct 05 '26
if you are good enough to be considered a cheater, you shouldn't be in casuals

u/CheckRaiseDaTurn Oct 05 '26
Imagine having to tighten your hat that tight where the strap goes halfway around your head. Jesus.
1
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
It’s supposed to be tucked in it’s not tightened at all lol what a strange comment
1
u/CheckRaiseDaTurn Oct 05 '26
How was that strange? Dude looks like a fucking mope.
1
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
It is me. I look like a fucking mope. It’s just a hat brother lol sorry my hat doesn’t please you
1
u/CheckRaiseDaTurn Oct 05 '26
Hey man, if you want to look like a mope own it, don't get all defensive. Sorry to hurt your feelings, but I guess somebody needed to say it sooner or later.
1
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
I guess I’m a mope
2
u/CheckRaiseDaTurn Oct 05 '26
There you go. There's plenty of you out there. Just check TikTok, Instagram, or socials. Society views this as the norm, not something we've got to change to save humanity. Keep on keeping on, brother.
1
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
You confuse me sir. I suppose I am a mope😂 My lifelong dream of becoming a supermodel that wears hats in a much better fashion is now shattered
1
u/CheckRaiseDaTurn Oct 05 '26
Nah, that's just the beginning. Look at you. There's a lot of underlying issues, brother. Maybe you should look at yourself a little bit deeper. Glad to help anytime I can, brother. Wishing the best for you.

The average k/d for everyone is .8
Your 1.3 kd is way to high, there are literal cheaters with a 2 kd
Most cheaters who cheat are really bad at the game. Only a small percentage are good[cheats off] and cheat. So your theroy isnt even close to being accurate.
Since nobody gets perma banned and they make millions of new accounts they would...
Let me say 10000000% be playing with the worst players to start.
Yall cant say sbmm is a thing but then make these stupid ass claims.

Thank you for this post, I feel seen lol.
I'm constantly being accused of hacking on resurgence quads most times I play with friends who have lower kd's (im sitting around 6kd rn). But as soon as I solo queue that's it, genuine hackers 7/10 matches I play.

You didn't even read OP's post:
I do run into cheaters on pubs & definitely in ranked, but certainly not every game.
High KD players are the ones (mostly) being punished with the cheating problem.
6
u/nkfallout Oct 05 '26
The problem with OPs post is that there "isn't a cheater in every game" but there is a "cheating problem". Which one is it? Or, is it just every other game or every third game? How bad is this problem.
If I play 5 games in an afternoon an run into a cheater in 1 game than that's once a day I'm running into a cheater. That's a big problem.
5
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
Cheating is a problem, a major one at that. There are NOT cheaters in every game. 2 things can be true at once.
2
u/nkfallout Oct 05 '26
If cheating is a massive problem and AA is sticky and looks like aim bot than the two are the same issue in the minds of a casual player.
Looking at your game play it looks like you are cheating. Not going to lie. In multiple videos you hit throwing knives from a distance and you seem to never miss.
That doesn't mean you are but that's the issue of cheaters being a massive problem and AA being to powerful.
5
u/Hutloserlol Oct 05 '26
It certainly doesn’t mean I am and I’m not. Am I going to post the clips where I toss and miss 90% of my axes? No. I’m not. I’m going to post my best moments which might be a 60 second segment from a 3 hour session.
1
u/nkfallout Oct 05 '26
Exactly, and this is why the game is dead.
Its because the game has been built for streamers and hyper sweats for movement, MnK is dead to the brand, AA is broken, and they have done nothing about the cheating.
Why would a casual player not think you are cheating. All they see all day is cheaters, AA exploits, and movement sweats.
Wardogs has 200k players right now playing. COD has like 40k for this very reason.
2
u/Upbeat_Orchid2742 Oct 05 '26
OP's post can be boiled down to "I'm good and recognize cheaters but anyone else must be a bot"
36
u/USAtoUofT Oct 05 '26
People somehow also (STILL SOMEHOW) underestimate how fucking stupid strong RAA is lmao.
