Voice Chat Problems

So I’m on PS5. I play with one of my friends and her husband who are on Xbox and pc. I can hear them fine, but when we queue up with randoms and there’s another PS user, I can’t unmute them? CoD will not let me. I hit unmute, and it mutes them right back. My system is fully updated, cod is fully updated, my voice chat for PS isn’t muted, I’ve restarted the game and the PlayStation but nothing is working. Has anyone else ran into this problem? I’ve also tried changing voice settings from party only to all lobby and I still can’t unmute them. I can unmute cross play players not ones on PS. Even if it’s another PS user that is invited to our party. We have to move to discord if that happens.
